The latest “Open Doors” report shows that there was a 1.3 percent increase in the number of students who studied abroad in the 2010/2011 year when compared to the 2009/2010 year. There was a total of 273,996 US students that studied abroad. Of this number, 33,182 students decided to study in the United Kingdom.
