What benefits can you expect?
Benefits and options will vary depending on the plan you are considering, however there are a few key benefits that you will see in most plans. This includes inpatient benefits, outpatient benefits, medical evacuation, repatriation, wellness, pre-existing conditions coverage, maternity, dental and vision options. Most plans will offer different levels of coverage, and optional modules to add certain benefits for an extra cost. Plans are annually renewable, and you can keep them as long as you still remain eligible under each plan's conditions.
Local or International Coverage?
There may be some cases where you have the option to purchase or buy into a local healthcare system, after a specific period of time. While this might be a good option for you, these plans often provide no international coverage and will not follow you if you move to another country. International major medical insurance plans will cover you globally, and if you move to another country the plan will follow with you.
How do I apply?

Once you have selected the plan you wish to apply for, you will complete an application form and medical questionnaire which will be reviewed by the underwriters. This process can take up to 5 business days or more, depending on the complexity of your application.
