Whether you are planning to study abroad or take a vacation to a foreign country, you will need to prepare beyond your Lonely Planet guide. It offers trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation of mortal remains, accidental death and dismemberment, and other incidental coverage and services for persons traveling outside their home country.  The cost for the plan is determined on the total cost of the trip itself.

If you have have health insurance coverage abroad already and need supplemental coverage, then the Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance will work for you. This is designed to offer emergency medical evacuation, repatriation of mortal remains, accidental death and dismemberment, and other incidental coverage and services for persons traveling outside their home country.  It is offered in 3, 6 and 12 month coverage periods and immediate coverage is available.
