The University of Denver recommends the Student Secure, Patriot Exchange, and Patriot Travel Medical plans for their visiting scholars and dependents. Those individuals on a J1 visa are eligible for all three plan options, and J2 dependents can choose the Patriot Exchange or the Patriot Travel Medical plans. Please keep in mind your plan must be active for the entire duration of your J visa, so we recommend purchasing coverage for the full length of your program. You should never let your insurance policy expire as long as you remain in the US!
