All international students on a F1 visa are enrolled in your school's group insurance plan which is run by ISI. The management of your enrollments is handled by your school, so please contact them with any questions you have. Once enrolled, you can learn more about the plan in the Student Zone.

NJCU waiver requirements are as follows:

  1. Insurance must have a local US network of health care providers that accept the coverage;
  2. Coverage must be at least $100,000 per accident or illness;
  3. Repatriation of remains in the amount of $25,000;
  4. Medical evacuation coverage in the amount of $50,000; and
  5. Deductibles not to exceed $500 per accident or illness.
  6. Coinsurance not less than 100%
If you purchase the Patriot Exchange plan please make sure the coverage per illness or injury is $100,000 or higher.
