Getting Started

AirDoctor is a telehealth benefit for international travel medical assistance provided by WorldTrips. Several plans offer access to AirDoctor, including Atlas Travel and StudentSecure (for both US and non-US coverage plans).

For new policies purchased on or after January 15, 2025, a personalized AirDoctor link will be included in the fulfillment documents and in the member portal. For existing policies purchased before January 15, 2025, a personalized AirDoctor link will be emailed to the policyholder and also made available in the member portal. This link gives policyholders direct access to their AirDoctor account through the website or by downloading the app.

  • How Does AirDoctor Work?

Outside the US, you can find nearby doctors and even schedule in-hotel visits. The platform is designed to be user-friendly, enabling you to search for doctors by specialty and book appointments easily.

  • What Health Concerns Can AirDoctor Help Treat?

    AirDoctor provides access to various specialists, including general doctors, pediatricians, gynecologists, dentists, and orthopedists. Depending on the location, different specialists are available to meet a range of healthcare needs.

  • How is AirDoctor covered in my plan?

    Air doctor visits will be covered as any other physician visit, including any applicable copays.

  • Can I get service in my own language?

    Yes, AirDoctor offers multilingual support to ensure clear and effective communication.

  • Can I Get a Prescription?

    When medically necessary, AirDoctor physicians can submit an electronic prescription for pick-up at your local pharmacy.

  • What if I Need a Referral?

    If you are referred for follow-up care outside of AirDoctor, any further visits will be handled by your insurance and will need to be submitted to your insurance claims team for processing under the plan’s conditions.
