The Student Secure plan is an excellent option for anyone with a valid F-1 or J-1 visa, allowing students to choose from four different levels of coverage, with benefits such as mental health, maternity, and pre-existing condition coverage after applicable waiting periods. This plan can be purchased for a minimum of 15 days up to one year, with renewability up to four years in total.

The Patriot Exchange plan is a great option for students above ages 25, and also allows dependents to enroll in the plan. The Patriot America plan offers coverage to anyone outside of their home country, offering coverage from a minimum of five days up to one year. Students on tourist visas, or visitors, are eligible for this plan, as you do not need a student visa to apply. This plan meets the Department of State requirements for J visa holders, and is a great option for short-term coverage while visiting the United States, and anywhere else outside of your home country.
