Northwest College requires all international students to purchase the Student Secure insurance plan for their entire stay in the US to protect themselves in the case of an accident or illness.
International students can choose any of the 4 different plan levels depending on their needs. However, athletes should purchase the Budget level or higher and make sure to purchase the optional add-on for sports otherwise the plan won’t provide coverage for intercollegiate sports.
This plan also works well for OPT students as long as their F1 visa remains valid.
