International Citizens Plan

When you are planning to live or study abroad for any length of time longer than 1 year, you need to make sure you have adequate health insurance coverage to provide protection for your everyday needs - along with coverage for the unexpected!

The International Citizens plans provides this coverage and more, offering annually renewable major medical health insurance to those who are needing coverage around the world. Each plan in the International Citizens series provide the same high level of coverage with slightly differing coverage areas or benefit line up.

All the International Citizens plan are underwritten by Lloyds of London, the oldest and most famous insurer in the world. They provide underwriting coverage to millions every single day, so you have peace of mind knowing that your plan has a solid backing!

Depending on your coverage needs, we have 2 main plan options:

PLEASE NOTE

1. Those who are residing in the State of NY at the time of application are not elligible for the International Citizens plan - please see the other health insurance options here.
2. The International Citizens plans are medically underwritten and will take up to 5 business days to be processed by an underwriter. Once you have completed the application online it will be sent to an underwriter and reviewed, they will then contact you within 5 business days.
