If you are an international student, the university requires that you have health insurance. Therefore, you will need to purchase international student insurance for New Jersey Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n

NJIT offers its own health insurance plan that international students may purchase. However, the university also gives students the option to buy an alternative health insurance plan it they prefer.
